Beaches in Skopelos

Skopelos ideally combines its green areas with its crystal blue shores. Follow the routes through its pine forests and end up in one of the its enchanting beaches. At a distance of 4 km you can try the beach of Staphylos, while Agnontas follows and Limnonari. The main road passes through almost all of them beaches and ends at the village of Glossa.

Temples and Monasteries

The numerous ones are visible from many parts of the island monasteries and rural temples, many of which are visitable. Among hundreds of Byzantine and more recent buildings, the monastery of Evangelistria (visible from the port of Skopelos), the monastery of Agia Varvara, the monastery of Agios Riginos and the monastery of Agioi Taxiarches in Glossa.


The traditional settlements bear the characteristic architecture to this day and a walk through the alleys it's really worth it. The white steps and the small temples they make the narrow streets of the villages even more picturesque. The medieval Castle and the archaeological site of Asklepiion are among the key examples of the history of the place. Access by ferry

The ports that serve the approach to its port of Skopelos and Glossa is St. Konstantinos (180 km from Athens), Kymi (Evia), Mantoudi (Kymasi-Evia) and Volos.
